Molting crab sautéed with ginger and green onions by JiuVinum™

Here is his recipe for Moult Crab sautéed with ginger and green onions that he created with the moulting crabsExostar :

In French: 

Ingredients:

  • 8 moulting crabs 
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • Oil, for frying
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 8 shallots, white and green separated, cut into tubes
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
  • Sauce: 3 tablespoons oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon light soy sauce, 3 tablespoons water, 9 turns white pepper, 1 teaspoon cornstarch, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Steps:

  1. Place the cornstarch in a large bowl, dipping the crab to coat it well.
  2. Heat the oil to 200°C, immerse the crab, fry it until it turns bright red, drain on absorbent paper
  3. Repeat steps (1) and (2) until all crabs are fried, set crabs aside
  4. Heat the oil, add the white shallots and ginger, sauté for 5 minutes
  5. Add the crabs and green shallots
  6. Add the sauce, let it thicken
  7. Arrange the serving plate with ginger and shallots topped with crabs. Enjoy your food !
