The pangasius belongs to the pangasiidae family. This fish is related to the catfish, is mainly raised in fish farms and can be found in fresh water. The particularity of the panga is that the taste of its flesh is not very pronounced, which pleases Westerners. Panga provides less protein than other fish can provide. It provides few calories, i.e. 66 kcal per 100 g. Ideal for cases of overweight and cholesterol. Unlike other white fish, it contains much less omega 3. Its intake of minerals and trace elements is not high, but contributes to the intake of phosphorus, iodine and selenium. This fish also provides a lot of B group vitamins.
