3. Giò Đặc Biệt – The Special

  • Description: The “Special” recipe from Tân Hưng house.

  • Flavor Profile: This “Đặc Biệt” (Special) version is rich in high quality meat, offering a more pronounced flavor and a particularly tasty texture. This is a premium product for connoisseurs.

 

Tasting Ideas 

 

Giò is eaten cold, cut into slices or dice. It is perfect:

  • In a sandwich: It is the star ingredient of the famous Bánh mì Vietnamese.

  • As an aperitif: Cut into cubes and served with chili sauce (như tương ớt).

  • In soups: Added at the last moment in a Pho or a Bun thang.

  • In salad: In the Gỏi cuốn (fresh spring rolls) or in papaya salad.

  • As a main course: Accompanied by sticky rice (Xôi) or rice vermicelli.
